The primary focus of our striking classes is Traditional Muay Thai (Thai Boxing). Classes are taught using traditional technique with modern concepts that are based on each individual's focus. Muay Thai is known as the art of 8 limbs due to it's use of punches, kicks, elbows and knees. The clinch is also utilized in Muay Thai which adds to the art's compatibility with BJJ/wrestling. Currently, we only offer striking classes to students 16 years and older.
What to expect in your class:
Warm up: Jogging and body weight exercises.
Training: Partner up 2 per group, 3 max. Drilling several techniques, taking turns to hold the pads.
Cool down: Ab workout and stretch.
I have no previous martial arts experience, can I join? Yes! Classes are designed with beginners in mind first. No previous experience is necessary.
I have previous experience, can I still join? Yes! We can easily modify/add technique and given finer detail points to groups of a higher experience level. Individual and team progression is always one of our top priorities.
What do I need to bring?
